A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Biography

After more than 15 years working in ceramics, South African-born Jared Orlin shifted his love for bright, bold colours and the beautiful symmetry of repeating imagery to a new medium: digitally-enhanced pop art photography prints. In doing so, he founded iHeart Pop Art.

Inspired by Andy Warhol and MC Escher, Jared, who now lives in the UK, loves presenting the 'normal' in surprising and unexpected ways. Through playful repetitions and colour enhancements, he puts new spins on every-day images, imbuing them with unusual and sometimes surprising perspectives.

ABOUT MY PROCESS

My Work

I'm inspired by bright colours and my art motto is "Colour the world." If it were up to me, spaces would be destinations and talking points, filled with a plethora of eye-candy art that demands your attention and desire to be looked at.

I see myself as something of a non-traditionalist. As such, I didn't study art in the traditional sense, and instead have poured my energies into learning the techniques I use to create my pop art designs: digital photography and image enhancement.
